An Angel

You had arrived as an angel
to transform my life
You had taken on the world for me,
whenever you saw me in distress
You had been resilient
in the toughest of times
You had taught me life
but may be I was overwhelmed
and chose flight as the primrose path
I couldn't give you much but
I still need your blessings
for the journey ahead..
as they say..life has to go on..
