Two years and a few hours have passed.
But the moment will be remembered forever..

An Angel
You had arrived as an angel
to transform my life
You had taken on the world for me,
whenever you saw me in distress
You had been resilient
in the toughest of times
You had taught me life
but may be I was overwhelmed
and chose flight as the primrose path
I couldn't give you much but
I still need your blessings
for the journey ahead..
as they say..life has to go on..
to transform my life
You had taken on the world for me,
whenever you saw me in distress
You had been resilient
in the toughest of times
You had taught me life
but may be I was overwhelmed
and chose flight as the primrose path
I couldn't give you much but
I still need your blessings
for the journey ahead..
as they say..life has to go on..

Mirror Image
She knew, this had to happen some day.
It was she who brought it upon herself.
But this was the least she could do, in lieu of
the lessons she had learnt..
All it felt was ..she was leaving her life behind..

For the people who made a difference...
Well, here I am , back after a long hiatus.
No 'Valentine's Day blues' for me....The last few months have been really eventful.
The worst situations in life have taught me the best lessons. The best thing to have happened to me was meeting people like Vaibhavi and Shreya.
Love which is unconditional appeals to me the most; perhaps every true love is all about that.it doesn't necessarily have to be of the passionate kind.
Vaibhavi was one of my trainers. She has been good to me for no reason at all. Her dedication, knowledge and kindness is indeed awe-inspiring.My last day with her at Mumbai delivery centre, Accenture was memorable. Here's wishing her a very Happy Valentine's day.
Shreya is one of those, who has seen me through one of the toughest phases of my life. She is the one, who I can really relate to , despite our age difference and all such so-called barriers. It was so moving to find her crying and heaving a sigh of relief after getting the confirmation that I am safe, despite the blasts that rocked Pune.
Here again, I have found one of my mentors ,who is one of the best teachers in his own right.
Most of us do crave for being loved and accepted for what we are. Who would like to fade into oblivion? Loving is all about nurturing our loved ones, caring for the subtle things that do make a difference to them...
As for the kind of love which most people associate this day with, may be its of the purest kind, our raison de'tre. But getting into it just for the heck of it, has never made sense. As for me, if something has to happen on this front, its all unto God.Till then, I am happily single :)

Of Godliness .....
Does God manifest Himself in a better way...
Of that I wonder...
Every moment that passes by helps me reinstate my faith in You...
You are nowhere far..but within me,
within that soul which effaces itself..
You steal a glance at me in that moment that is worth a lifetime...
Of the trials and tribulations, I hold no grudge...
May You have a share of my happiness,
and I a share of Your misfortunes in return...
May all the hues of the rainbow
light up the voyage You have set Your eyes upon...
Of that I wonder...

"O re manwa tu toh bawra hai"
Got to watch the movie “Wake up Sid” recently. It seemed like ages that I had last visited a hall…..
(It was in Jaipur ,with some of my best friends from college.)This time Antulika seemed to be the only link between my college and corporate life (which will kick start in the true sense once the training gets over!).There wasn’t anything very new in the movie, but still I found myself relating to it…. “The new girl in the city” and such stuff. Well the reason must be pretty obvious, as a considerable part of the story deals with a girl form Kolkata relocating in Mumbai…..
Yes, it’s kind of strange but true…with every passing day, I find myself falling in love with my new life….
I never thought I could ever bring myself to terms with the hustle-bustle of this city, the commercial capital of India. But I must acknowledge that I owe my new found freedom to this city. Like the protagonist Sid, I find myself growing up every moment. It’s very true that it’s the people more than the place who make life beautiful. To set things in the right perspective, I haven’t found my “Sid” or whosoever …but I never thought I could be so much on my own, thanks to the busy life here and the people who are always ready to lend a helping hand even before asking for it.
Right from day one, I was lucky to have met the right people. True that the tests are kind of taxing, but they have their positive aspects as well. It would have been an uphill task to survive through this turmoil had it not been for peers who were there to genuinely empathize with me in my failure ,encourage me to face every challenge with nonchalance and of course inspire me by putting in their best efforts themselves.
The ecstasy of getting the first salary deserves a special mention as well!!
More than the words sometimes it’s the smile on one’s face that works wonders……..

Utopia...
I wish I was born in a world…
Where humans don’t draw the dagger against each other….
Where friends don’t refuse to acknowledge each other..
Where women don’t have to worry before stepping out alone…
Where nature is not tampered with…
Where every being is held in due respect..
Where religion, caste, creed and color cease to matter…
Where creatures live and let live…
May be it’s an utopia…
But may my journey be cut short in the most legitimate manner
Before it degrades any further….
Where humans don’t draw the dagger against each other….
Where friends don’t refuse to acknowledge each other..
Where women don’t have to worry before stepping out alone…
